Environment, Social and Governance (ESG)

At Rananjaya, our company’s long-term success is inextricably linked to the well-being of our employees, the environment, and the communities where we operate. We believe that by managing our business in a socially responsible and sustainable manner, we can create value for our shareholders, employees, customers, and communities. Good governance is critical in upholding these standards and ensuring that our company is operated ethically and responsibly.

As a good corporate citizen, we have developed ambitious ESG targets which we are confident of achieving. We will continue to invest in our people, processes, and technologies to ensure that we not only meet but exceed the expectations of all our stakeholders.

Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy and framework provide the roadmap for how we will achieve our ESG goals and embed these considerations into our business strategy and operations.

ESG Focus Areas

Merit-Based Recruitment and Development

We believe talent should thrive regardless of social status, gender, religion, nationality, or cultural background. That’s why we recruit based on an individual’s drive, energy, commitment, and ability to deliver results. Those who are ambitious and have the potential to grow are given opportunities to develop their careers with us through our career development programmes, which include training, mentorship, and educational assistance.

Gender Balance

We are committed to promoting women into leadership roles and creating a safe and inclusive workplace for our female employees. Our founders, leaders and senior managers are predominately women, and we have a global network of leaders and mentors who can support and guide the next generation of female professionals. Our workplace policies are designed to support and encourage women in the workplace while providing a safe and vibrant environment where everyone can thrive.

Diversity and Inclusion

We foster a corporate culture that values diversity and inclusion. We believe a diverse workforce helps us better understand and serve our customers, creates a more dynamic and innovative organisation, and contributes to sustainable growth. Our goal is to create an inclusive environment that enables all employees to feel valued and respected and that their contributions are recognised. Our code of conduct, policies and practices ensure everyone is treated fairly and respectfully.

Socially Responsible Investment

Our approach to social responsibility is evident in our investments. We invest in projects that are committed
to making a positive social and environmental impact, and these companies are leaders in their industries and make a difference in the world. We are also committed to investments that provide a safe and healthy environment for employees, customers, and other stakeholders in all locations, including Kenya, Manila, Dallas, Coimbatore, and Melbourne.

We respect the human rights of our employees, customers, suppliers, and other business partners. We are committed to ensuring that our business activities do not violate the human rights of any individual or group.

Our CSR initiatives include:
